It’s time.

One of the things I’ve learned in life is that time doesn’t wait for any one. It flies by us- relentless in pursuit of another day.

If we don’t grab onto that day it just turns into another yesterday, another ” I Could’ve ” or worse, “I should have” done that type of memories. Life is not meant for us to be holding ourselves back in order to make someone else, or society for that matter, happier than we want to be ourselves. Take time for yourself- tell that person, job, item NO for a change. scream it at the top of your lungs if you have too.

Cancel your 3:00 appointment and go get your nails done instead. Go do something each day that makes you happy. Life is to short to waste these days on mediocre situations or food or movies or meetings or people or music or plans.

Go live it to the fullest. There is so much more we can do with our time that can make us the happiest we have been, or feel the best we ever can. Why waste time feeling down, sorry, or hurt by something when there is so much more you can offer yourself. I don’t have any answers. But I will be making changes in my life soon that make me a happier me. And there is nothing wrong with doing what is best for you- no matter what.

It’s up to us to make each day, the most we can. In those days I’ve learned that I don’t have to have it all together. It’s okay to be weak, to be drained, and to be broken hearted. It’s okay to allow yourself ice-cream for dinner and doing retail therapy even though you don’t need a thing. It’s okay to treat yourself how you want to be treated by other people. Spoil yourself, spoil the hell out of yourself. It’s what you deserve.
